Moira Equestrian Centre is run by Jim Allen and his son Paddy who offer a "go as you please" cross-country service seven days a week. The Allen's farm is two miles from the Moira turnoff on the M1 and is very central to most people in Northern Ireland. The cross-country course, which opened in 2010, has been designed by Tony McMannon and Sonia Rowe. The mission of Moira Equestrian Centre is to allow people of all ages to come and school their ponies and horses in a safe and friendly atmosphere. Open 365 days a year (*Excluding Christmas Day), weather permitting, from dawn until dusk.
